I'm 78, retired after 30 years as a school secretary. My husband also retired. Just wanting to get my retirement years off to a good start with fitness and weight loss, as well as interacting with others. Love spending time with my grandchildren, vacationing, gardening and needlework. Recently relocated from Ohio to South Carolina and have to say, I do NOT miss the Ohio snow.

My Goals:
1. I will stay within my calorie range.
2. I will eat my 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables
3. I will drink eight glasses of water every day
4. I will do exercise at least three or four times a week
5. I will write on the message board to give and get motivation.
My Program:
Following low fat, high fiber diet. Getting back to a good walking routine!
Personal Information:
After nearly 76 years in NE Ohio in the snow belt, we have moved to Rock Hill SC and love it! Married with two daughters, two step-sons, sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren and one more on the way.
Other Information:
I like to read romance paperbacks when we travel, helps pass the time on the road. I also do a lot of crocheting, mostly making baby items and wedding afghans.
I think my favorite movie is Ben Hur, although really like Grease, Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Sleeping With the Enemy and most Lifetime movies.
