In just 2 1/2 years I'll be 50. I am pretty happy with the place I am in life. I have much to be proud of. Both my kids are college graduates and one owns his own home. I have a good career that provides me not only financially, but also a wealth of opportunities. I love living a life of service to others, and am proud that both of my children do as well. God has blessed me many times over and continues to remind me each day that he will always provide for me. So why can I not figure out this weight thing?

Fitness Minutes: 223,049

My Goals:
I want to drop to under 200 lbs. and get myself in the habit of working on myself daily to maintain the changes I have made.

1/3/09 - I vow to get back on track and move every day! I need to start back on the right course to feeling and looking better. Each day I plan to move, even if it is just the 10 minute workout video for the bootcamp. I can do this!

8/11/07 - Today I lost my brother after a very courageous battle with cancer. I pray that his strength and determination will be something I can make my own, especially when it comes to losing weight and becoming healthier.


My Program:
Monitoring my food intake is key, whether I write it down or not. Also, eating more frequently (ever 3-4 hours) is key.

Consistency will be crucial for me this summer. I need to make sure I move more and not fall back into old, bad habits.



Personal Information:
I am now under the care of a weight management specialist. I just know there is something more than what is going on with me. I hit the gym 3 days a week and am eating okay. Yet, I have not budged on the scale and my pants are tight.

I have only been under the doctor's care since earlier this week, but so far it has been good. I have lost 7 lbs. this week alone! I am excited by this change. I continue at the gym 3 days a week for Zumba and once a week for strength training. It feels good.


Other Information:
I am hopeful that I will start my Doctorate program this coming year. I am just a couple of short years away from it. I want to finish this chapter in my life and move forward.
