Let's make this the best FEBRUARY ever. This is my 12th Sparkversary, so thanks to finally finding a doctor who put me on Metformin, Armour Thyroid, and Bydureon, I've been able to lose weight, with about 20# to go. I fell and broke my femur right below my hip joint in June '17, so I have a titanium rod with screws My bone scan showed I have no osteoporosis. The doctor tells me my bone has healed thanks to my Ultra-Sound stimulator, but I still have problems because of the pins, but I'm dealing with that. . I'm continuing to exercise daily.
In all labor there is profit; but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury Prov 14:23 (Don't be mad about the results you didn't get, because you only talked about it and didn't do the work it required.)

In "The Power of NOW" Eckhart Tolle teaches us to live for today. If we do that, all the days of the year will add up to our success. "

I've been a Sparker for twelve years. Joined Sparks in October '07. I've five children, 45, 35, 32, 30 and 29. (Four boys/one girl) I have four GDs, Grace Olivia (8), Chanel Ava (7), Lily Dona (7) and Chloe' Renee (5).

My 12th year goal is to EXERCISE daily now that I turned 70 and in my head I'm still 30.

Well we all find raw courgettes to have the consistency of polystyrene!

Try not wasting your day being negative about other people's choices, especially to big yourself up in the process.

Don't know if you remember me, but I noticed a comment of yours on another page and decided to come say hi. It looks like you have been inspired by the concept of healthspan. I find that is my motivation, too, these days. Also saw that you felt Metformin took away cravings? Did I get that right? Glad things are working out for you. And super congrats on all your Spark points! I haven't even gotten to 100,000. But I'm in my normal BMI range even without them, so I guess that's something. Who knows where I'd be if I'd get those exercise points! emoticon

Definitely carry on is best , but we are here on a long stay... A little difficult with all our athletic gear. We each have carryon roller cases —and thst made all the difference. His was fine... but mine didn’t make the connecting flight...

Yes it is Valentine's Day here too!
I hope you had a lovely one too. I had a really great friend from Vancouver
come for a quick 5 day visit and it was so much fun. We have had lots of rain
and we bought rain boots and walked in the puddles.
    Have a great week Jibbie.
