I will call her and ask, John. Have you seen a doctor yet? That is the most important step. Also, I would recommend not drinking any coffee, alcohol, tea, and soda pop or eating or drinking any chocolate, until you get the problem under control. These things cause a lot of reflux in people. From what country are you BTW? Oh, and raise the head of your bed, if you can. 1824 days ago

John, my cousin, who sings in choirs, had the same thing happen to her and her voice came back. She saw her gastroenterologist, and maybe a throat specialist as well. Her doctor made an adjustment to her acid reflux medications in order to help her. 1824 days ago

My voice has been in and out lately. I noticed that I had worsening reflux last week. It does get better when I watch what I eat and take the medication my doctor gave me for my acid reflux. I think my voice is much better when I watch my food intake very closely. I hope your days are going well.
