I am here to get healthy. Tired of being tired. I want to be able to have the energy and strength to be active and strong, have a productive life. For my healthy habits to rub off on my daughter and others.

{March 7, 2009}I am buying a cloth measuring tape today to do measurements & I am buying a scale--yes, I am going to give in & buy one & only weigh myself once a week. I hope all this motivates me to keep going.

Weight:198.4
I don't know what I did, but according to my scale I lost 10 lbs! wow! Ok. I'll take it! I do feel "lighter" and I had to stop & pull up my pants a couple of times too.

3/14/09 weight: 196.6

woo hoo!!! This is really great, I am actually under 200 lbs!! wow!! I am not going to measure myself every week, maybe every 2 weeks

3/21/09 weight: 194.8

neck:15 {lost an inch!}
waist: 42 {lost an inch!}
hips: 45 {lost an inch!}

I am so happy!!!

I have made the decision that right now counting calories is something I need to be paying attention to.... I get so hung up sometimes on the other nutrients that I don't make my minimum or I get frustrated because I don't have time to list it all....So for the next few weeks, calories....

I am going to start rewarding myself for pounds lost.

As of 3/14/2009: I have lost 11.4 lbs on Spark, but, all together 23 lbs because I lost some weight before coming on Spark.

*Consistency

*Eating good foods

*Cardio: 3 to 4 times a week & spice it up with different programs.

*Strength exercises: at least twice a week. I never realized how much we need those exercises till now.

*Weighing myself ONLY once a week. I can get pretty OCD if I am not careful.

I am from Upstate NY & a Mom of a beautiful 11 year old girl.

I love encouraging others. I also love making people feel at home.

I LOVE to read, write, cook.

Book I am reading now:

The Beginner's Guide To Intercession by Dutch Sheets--I have read this before many years ago & find that it has great info to keep going back to.
