I am back at it again trying to lose weight and become healthier in the process. Besides losing weight my goal is to eat a healthier balanced diet with fewer processed foods and stay within my calorie range.

My Goals:
Current goals are:
1. Lose weight.
2. Eat healthier
3. Be more mindful of what I am eating and how I am taking care of my body.
4. Plan and track my food intake.
5. Exercise 3-6 days a week trying to aim for closer to the 6 days a week.
7. Take active part in the summer 5% challenge for 2020.


My Program:
I just joined the Summer 5% Challenge.

My current plan is to continue to work out 3 to 6 days a week from 20 to 60 minutes. I mainly work out using You Tube videos and enjoy Pahla B Fitness as she has many "knee friendly videos." I like to do her low impact cardio videos 3x a week and now just starting to incorporate some of her strength and toning videos the other days of the week. On my off day I like to do a stretching video or a walking video.



Personal Information:
I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors and also spending time with my family. I also love paper crafting and also maintain a You Tube channel where I show off my projects along with teaching a few tutorials. I have taken a small step back from this though as I have been focusing on my health and also have been busy with work. My husband and I maintain residences in North Dakota and Minnesota. In Minnesota we do live on a lake so whenever the weather is nice and the wind is calm I enjoy kayaking and working in the yard. In the past I enjoyed walking/hiking but my knee has a hard time handling pavement for any period of time or walking up and down hills. My knee has been doing better though with more strengthening so hopefully someday I will be able to do this again. I do work for my husband who is an environmental consultant. I help him with paperwork, wildlife surveys, wetland surveys, grass and tree surveys.

    If you are keeping track of your weight for the In Between Challenge don't forget to fill in the template tomorrow, Saturday. During this challenge each member sets their own weight loss goals, even if that is just to maintain or to gain less than you would if you weren't checking in. No one is monitoring your weight. You need not post your weight unless doing so benefits you. There will, however, be a template available so you can keep track weekly.
