Introduction Text Hi! My name's Karen. I'm a university student in British Columbia, Canada. I love the outdoors and can often be found walking around parks and gardens, hiking through the woods, or camping. I'm also a huge travel and music buff -- I've been to dozens of countries (I even lived abroad for a few years) and I play several instruments (some of them well, haha). I have a pet cat, and if I didn't live in such a small apartment I'd get a dog as well ... one day. Thanks for coming to my SparkPage!

For my height, I'm actually at a reasonably healthy weight -- perhaps at the high end of the range, but healthy nonetheless. So I want to focus on toning up and developing better lifestyle habits to keep me healthy as I grow older.

I love walking and hiking and I recently became a running addict too! I have a treadmill and free weights at home. I joined Curves for a few months, but it closed, so now I'm going gym-less for a while.



Besides music and travel, I also love reading, mostly nonfiction. I'm a big fan of live theatre and try to support the local arts scene by going to community plays, concerts, and other performances. I speak German, some French, and some Mandarin Chinese. I bake excellent cookies and cakes!
