I haven't been here for awhile and started here when I was 53. Struggled like crazy to lose the weight, had health issues etc. I am now 58 and have successfully shed 38 lbs and still going down slowly. I started taking it 10 lbs at a time and everything is much easier.
It starts with food first, exercise second. Whole food plant based no oil.

My Goals:
Looking forward to another 5-7 lbs down each month.
To eventually get off both medications I take for blood pressure. Diuretic and the BP pill.
My Program:
I watch what I eat the most. If I have a slipup, I just get back on track the next day. I eat a "Whole foods plant based, no oil." Limit the bread. Bread will cause a much slower weight loss.
Walking, bike riding. Workout DVDs when I can.
Personal Information:
I am 58, I live in North Las Vegas, NV. Been here for 13 years. Married with our fur daughter Mindy. (cat)
Other Information:
I read most everything. Except for sappy romance novels.
I also enjoy jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and action/arcade type games.
Play too many games in Facebook, wasting my time, but I find them relaxing at the end of a day.
