Hey All.

Its been so long since I updated this. Since joining this site, I am down a total of almost 85lbs and have kept it off for almost a year. Trying to lose that last 5-10lbs is the hardest, but Im healthy now and in no rush. For the first time in my entire life, my BMI is in the healthy range.

I have figured out alot about myself since starting this journey, and overcoming food addiction was definitely one of them. I cant wait to enter my first 5k race and be on a victory.

My goal here is to motivate others in achieving the same. I work full time and go to school.. If i can do this anyone can!

My Goals:
my goals are to be able to run my first 5k and to finish it.

I would also like to motivate others in the process of becoming healthy.

Being healthy is not a option - it is a necessity

My Program:
I am definitely eating better. No late night snacking, I eat red meat about once a week (mmm i luv steak) and stick mainly to brown rice, chicken, fish, and fresh veggies. cant forget about the fruit too!

I also enjoy working out between 4-5x wkly. I usually do cardio for about a hr and then strength training for a 1/2 hr 3-4x wk. i alternate muscle groups one day will be upper body the next day lower body.

I use to be a couch potato because work was so long and tiring, but ever since i started my better lifestyle, I am more active than ever and loving it more than anything.
