Hi! My name is Kim

I have now entered my 2nd goal to lose10 additional pounds. This is a MAJOR challenge for me because of a terrible hormonal sweet/salt tooth iI have. I had lost 30 pounds on the Slimfast method and was doing fine until I hit around 46 years old and the ole pre- menopause kicked in. I am 50 now and I do not plan to go into my 50's like a pin cushion!. I see the difference in the changes one's body goes through during midlife, but I refuse to claim it! So I am restructuring my eating habits and working out differently in order to compensate for this new change. I refuse to go back to the weight that I fought so hard to lose. Aint gonna happen!!!

I am now wanting to gain some muscle and try to eat "fairly" clean. This too will be a challenge coming from a moderately junk food junkie! But I say, take it one day at a time!

Hi Kim, thanks for stopping by and catching me up. I am still going to start P90X on September 30, I will do the fit test a couple of days before I start.

Sorry to hear that you got hurt; it is best to stay off of it, hopefully it is just a pull and you will be up and running again soon! Sending healing vibes your way!

I didn't think I would like T25 so I never bought it. I have plenty of cardio workouts and I actually enjoy boxing and kickboxing better than that kind of workout. I agree that weights are better, I am looking forward to doing P90X later on this month.

Well, I have to eat a little something and then relax a bit before going to bed. Have a nice night. I will check back you to see how you are doing with P90X... I know you are enjoying it!

Talk to you later! ~ Dee emoticon

    Hey Lady!!!
I am doing better, I just got back into working out...I know....I know
I tried to do a week of Jillian Michael's" Ripped In 30" workout last week(but I only did three days ughh) Than this morning I did two Jillian Michael's workouts the "No More Trouble Zones" workout...it's circuit training with weights, and than after that I did her "Banish Fat Boost Metabolism" workout that is just a high intensity cardio workout that just kicks my tail when ever I do it. So I am feeling kinda proud of myself...it has been months since I have been able to do two workouts, so I am going to try to do these two workouts every morning...I tried to do P90X a couple of months ago and I couldn't do a whole workout. so I am going to get my strength back up so that I can do P90X in October.

This summer has been challenging...My husband graduated from college-got his Bachelor's degree, He went back to work, Dealing with one of my boys weekly speech therapy, Three kids in summer camp/now out of summer camp...... has left me with very little to no "me time"
So...with two weeks left before my kids get back to school, I just decided that I am going to try my best to fit in a little me time every day!

Girl...life happens, we just have to remember to take care of ourselves first, so that we can continue to do what we do!
    Nice to hear from you!

Thanks for catching me up. I am doing ok, gained my weight, or what little weight I lost back, so back on track now.

I broke down and bought P90X!!!!... Because of the success you and others have had with it, I decided to give it a try. I will be starting it in September or October. Right now I am getting ready for it because I haven't really been doing a lot of strength training; my goal is to do ST 3X's a week like the P90X program. I will substitute pull/chin-ups because I can't do those, at least right now (developed truncal lymphedema from the breast cancer)

Do you think maybe you can start another round of P90X with me in the fall?

Have you heard from Sue (MELTNSUE)?... I have been worried about her because of her MS and other issues, I how she is doing ok.

... anyway, I am glad to hear that you are doing well. Keep in touch.

Enjoy your day! ~ Dee emoticon

PS:... good luck with T25 I heard it is tough... Let me know how you like it! emoticon
