For many years I have gone through the cycle of eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly to relapsing to the typical American diet with no exercise. No more! I am determined to continue my positive life styles changes and to only move forward with them. No more moving back!

Through out all of these years I have realized that I really like to eat. I love to prepare wonderful meals for my family and to partake in those meals. In order to eat the amount that I enjoy so I don't feel like I am starving myself and am missing out I have to exercise almost every day. When I stop exercising the weight finds it's way to my thighs and butt very quickly.

I eat a very healthy, mostly clean diet. Right now I am eating a mostly vegan diet. I don't eat dairy, meat, or animal byproducts. All meals I prepare at home are vegan. The one thing I have not fully given up is sushi. I do have a little fish whenever I eat sushi out. I consider sushi my junk food. However, each time I go to sushi I have less fish then the time before.

I also try to eat as little sugar, as possible. I love my cupcakes, but only on very special occasions. Right now, I am even cutting out alcohol. Sugar hides in so many forms!

I've tried all kinds of exercise, but the one I always come back to and the one that always works for me is walking. I also incorporate strength training exercises I am able to do at my desk while at work and a long 3-4 hour hike every Saturday.

Now these are healthy lifestyle changes than I can stick to and I plan to for the rest of my life!

Kimmy!!! So great to hear from you. NAMO07 and I started another team. It's kind of fizzled in the last month and a half but I think I'm ready to jump back in.

    How have you been?

Okay--I'm IN! oh man...already sounds hard!
Is it bad that I'm planning two cheat days? Only two--not bad for a month!
    Your background is so bad!!!

Hey Kimmy, Remember me? Dropped out of the Sparkling Diamond Challenge? I would love if we could start that up again since it was by far the best I've ever done with weight loss. I see the group hasn't been very active. What do you say?

Are you interested in continueing to lead the No Sugar and the Diamond group.

NAMO stepped down from leading the NO SUGAR GROUP...and we have next to no people participating on a regular basis in the DIAMONDS GROUP.

It would really help to know if you plan to continue to lead? IF not maybe we should ask others like AMY ??? She participates on a regular basis and we need that to keep these teams alive.

Please email me and let us know.

I asked Jasmine to be one of the leaders of the NO SUGAR team ...she has agreed - without her the team would have folded.
