I've been here for several months looking around SP. I lost 8 lb when I strarted tracking everything and then I QUIT AND GAINED IT ALL BACK!!!! Well I'm back again and this time I"M going all OUT! I'm gonna finish this thing that I started 6 yrs ago and HIT MY GOAL!!!

My weight loss, weight gain journey started about 18 years ago after the birth of my 3rd child. I had 4 children and gained 5 or 10 lbs after the 1st two but I still looked good and felt good. I don't know what triggered it maybe the business of having 4 kids under the age of 5, bills etc. After my 4th child I lost all my weight when I went on Weight Watchers. But then quickly gained it back when I didn't make it a lifestyle change.
I would start a diet and by the weekend blow it and overeat and then throw in the towel and quit, instead of getting up, dusting myself off and start again. I would just gain some more weight.
I was 116 lbs when I got pregnant with my first and when it was all said and done by 2004 I was a heafty 186. I'm only 5'2" so that's not good.(I'm gonna try and post some before pix soon)
A girl in church that I never really spoke with always was so toned and you could tell she lifted. I had finally had it with myself I stopped her one Sunday and asked her if she worked out and if she would be willing to help me. I was desperate. Just so happened she was in the process of getting her personal training cert. I became her guinne (sp) pig. I dropped 30 lbs over the next 4 years. And she became one of my best friends. Now I just want to get the rest of this off and I know what to do, it's just DOING IT.
In October, I'm signed up to start at the National Personal Training Institute to become a personal trainer and hopefully help me with the rest of my journey.
I also want to do a Figure Comp next april. I know it can be done, its just the getting there that is difficult. But like I said "I'm done gaining and loosing the same 10 lbs" I'm gonna be 42 in Dec and I know I can do this. I have doubted myself long enough and SP has shown me that this is attainable.

Drink 8 glasses water daily
Exercise daily
weights 3x's weekly
Cardio 4x's or more

My goal is 125 lbs. On my ticker I only put short 5 or 10 lb goals.


My Program:
Mon. Wed. & Fri.
Do weights. ( I'm sortof following the Body for Life plan for lifting and cardio)

4 or more days weekly is cardio. At least 30 min.
Treadmill
HS track
Tow path in town



Personal Information:
Hi, Im Kim. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 22 yrs this June. We have 4 children. Nicole 21, Brooke 19, Ronnie 18, and Brandon 16. We live on 8 acres and have a couple horses, I love to trail ride.

I love to lift. I HATE CARDIO but I'm wanting to run a 5K this summer. In April 2011 my goal is to be in a figure comp. That's a tall order for this 41 yr old mom. We'll see:)


Other Information:
I love to Read. Usually anything having to do with health and nutrition. I read, read, read all about that stuff. It's just actually doing it where the problem is.
