Introduction Text Hello. My name is Kara and I am an addict. I’m addicted to food. LOL I am 26 years old and I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 5 years. We don’t have any children yet, but we have three dogs who we treat like our children. We have two Chihuahuas (Layla Rose & Macie) and a terrier mix (Charlie) who I picked up off the side of the road. I have been struggling with my weight for some time now. When I was in high school, I always thought I was too fat, but now I wish I could go back to the size I was then! About five years ago, I quit smoking and gained even more weight. My husband says I just used it as an excuse to eat more LOL I joined Weight Watchers and did really good, I lost 15 or 20 pounds and I looked and felt great. But then I quit eating right, I quit exercising, and I quit going to the Weight Watchers meetings. I gained all my weight back plus about 15 pounds. I’ve been yo-yo dieting ever since. But I’m tired of this diet rollercoaster. I’m ready for a change. I’m ready to lose this weight and keep it off. "I will do what I need to do, in order to do what I want to do." I am so glad that I found SP because I know I will be able to accomplish my goals with all of your support and friendship. Short term goal: Lose 10% of my body weight (21 pounds) by June 2010. Long term goal:Reach my goal weight (150pounds) by January 2012. Fit into size 10 jeans Be able to run a mile nonstop Make a permanent change: lose the weight & not gain it back! Learn to dance and feel confident doing it!! To live long, to be healthy, to be fit, and to finally eat right.

1. Weight Watchers 2. No fast food, sweets, or sodas 3. Drink 8 glasses of water a day 4. Exercise at least 3 times a week 5. Take a multivitamin everyday

I am from North Carolina. My hobbies include fishing, watching movies, bowling, and spending time with my family.
