Thank you for the goodie...it always surprises me when people say they are inspired by my weight loss. You can do it, too! When you gain a pound, it's just a matter of recommitting yourself, not just every day, but every minute of every day to be the best and healthiest person you can be!
And regarding the kale and blueberry smoothie...I don't relaly measure anything, but here goes.
8 oz of unsweetened almond milk (you could also use skim or soy)
4 or so oz. plain greek yogurt (I use Fage 0%)
    1 scoop soy protein powder
    handful of kale leaves.
    Whirr this in the blender.
Add maybe a 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries. You could also use fresh and then add 5-6 ice cubes.
I haven't figured the calories, but I'd guess it at about 300 or so.
This is NOT very sweet. YOu could add some kind of sweetener if you want.

Thank you for the comments on my blog, Images.
It doesn't take much to trigger an craving in our mind of some food or treat that we think would be tasty.
I can understand the Dairy Queen Blizzards. I have had my share of them in the past.
For my cold thick protein fruit smoothie I use, Yoplait Smoothie, they come in four different flavors. Each package makes two smoothies. I pour half the package in the blender, with cup of 1% milk, and a scoop of protein powder. Blend it up and you have a frothy ,thick fruity drink that's very good. You are getting 50% daily calcium ,one full serving of fruit and in using the protein , any where from 15 to 20 grams of protein, Just depends what brand protein you use. Mixed up it is 110 for the Yoplait and 100 for the protein. Total 210 calories. Much better for you than a milkshake. Give it a try.
    Take care.
