Getting Healthy In My 50's!!
I was widowed nine years ago and have been trying to find myself ever since. I have packed on the pounds and all the diseases that go with obesity. I have immersed myself in the bad side effects of those diseases and I have finally come to terms with losing weight hoping to shed most of them. I have my Savior in my corner and know that with Him ANYTHING is possible!

My Goals:
1. My first important goal is NOR MORE EATING IN MY BEDROOM. It's too easy to overeat while I'm staring at the tube!!
2. Measure everything!
3. Track everthing I eat!
4. Plan 7 days of meals and snacks.
5. Stay within all nutrtion ranges everyday.
6. Don't buy Peanut Butter granola.
7. Don't buy Garlic Triscuits, Ritz, or Grape Jelly (or any jelly).
8. Find new topping for Rice Cakes that fits within my program.
9. Keep any and ALL junkfood out of my part of the cabinets and fridge.
There you have it!!
My Program:
Walk at least 20 mins EVERYDAY!!
I'm starting with 3x's a week.
Log in my fitness.
Learn 1 new Bible verse every 1 to 2 weeks.
Personal Information:
My name is Dari and I'm from Victorville, CA. We call it the High Desert. Lots of brown but i manage to keep some green in the front and back yard.
Other Information:
My all time favorite movie is Somewhere In Time and Cinderella comes in a very close 2nd.
I have to say my favorite book is the Bible. It's my manual and I try to live buy it as best I can.
I like to sew, crochet (don't do much anymore),
TV, movies, shop, go to plays and read.
