Good morning! Thanks for your comment on my community feed post. I'm not sure what happened. I went for 12 days without losing anything. I have my ups and downs when I look at the scale each day, but I always stick to the plan for my nutrition, drinking water, and exercising. It will come off. Just keep at it. You can do it! :) A couple of the things I try to do is eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. I do my best to eat the "rainbow of colors" each day. Also, berries, pineapple, and watermelon are healthy for you and low in calories. I try to eat berries and pineapple with a yogurt each day. Some of my favorite low calorie and highly nutritious vegetables include spinach, kale, cucumbers, carrots, celery, and tomatoes. If I don't have a salad during the day with the spinach, cucumbers, carrots, and celery, I will put those vegetables through the juicer and add an equal amount of tomato juice at the end. Again, very nutritious and low on the calories. Of course if you can, it's better to eat them to get the fiber. I like Ezekiel bread. If you aren't familiar with it, it is several grain types that are sprouted and then pressed into loaves and baked. You can find it in the freezer section because there are no additives or preservatives. So with one slice of that, I have my grains for the day. I also like to use peanut butter or almond butter to boost the healthy fats, as well as salmon, tuna, mackerel, and sardines. I have eliminated wheat from my diet (with the exception of the occasional slice of pizza) as well as sodas. I now just drink my coffee in the morning, and then water for the rest of the day, and try to get in a cup of chocolate soy milk as well. The only dairy products I eat now would be mozzarella cheese, yogurt, and sour cream. That pretty much sums up my diet. Well, I also eat turkey and chicken, and other vegetables and fruits as well. My goal is to now eat foods in as natural a state as possible. I know this is long, but I just wanted to share with you what I am doing. I am following the "Eat Right for Your Type Diet". The foods that I mentioned are all either Beneficial or Neutral for my Blood Type A. If you read all of this (ha ha!), thanks. I wish you the best in your weight-loss journey.
