I started seriously changing my lifestyle in Jan. 2010. Did real well with staying within calorie range and lost 27 pounds in just 5 months. Then summer happened, then budget cuts, more stress at work...and I stalled out on my momentum and motivation.
Library expansion back injury ( summer 2012) put a screeching halt to my exercise program and I plummeted into bad eating choices and lost my "want to".
It's now July 2017. I will regain my strength. I will recharge my healthy momentum. I will overcome the challenges of physical mobility limitations and be victorious.

With God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!

I'm looking forward to achieving results one small change at a time.

Down 7 lbs!!! WAY TO GO!!! Keep up the good work and before you know it you will be to goal. My weekend didn't help my goal at all, but hey, today's a new day and a new week. So, back to salads for lunch and saying 'NO' to the things that aren't helping me to go in the right direction.

    Be blessed as well, sister.

Hello, I hope the afternoons at Curves works for you. :) I have lost 3 lbs.on Sparkpeople. I have been pretty good tracking" everything !!!" We have been busy with yard work, and trying to decide on carpet and wood flooring. I want to get it right because I don't want to have to do this project again for a long time. How are the kids?? John and I have been going to water arobics three times a week and liking it.

Yes my crony friend emoticon this color works MUCH better on the eyes.

I am happy to report the pathology report came back with clear margins. DH said he is going to buy 100+ SPF in 55 gallon barrels for me now. If there is any hint of me getting in the sun he's grabbing my cowboy hat to make sure even my ears are protected. He's so good to me and takes such great care of me ... I think I'll keep him. (He'd be homeless if I didn't ... cuz I don't think anyone else wants him, LOL!! ... j/k)

I do believe you to be right, any plan you're on it is YOU that has to make it work. With WW I did drop my points to lowest (that they say to have) and I was still playing with the same 2 lbs. +/- back and forth since before the holidays. So, I am going back to counting EVERY calorie I inhale like you said "good" or "bad." (I was doing so with WW too ... but I think this will make a great difference with lowering my daily calories.)

I'm glad the two of us are back on board and ready to roll. It is much more enjoyable to take the trip together ... so hop on the looney bus sister, we're in for a ride!! emoticon

    Love ya,
    Sue

Thanks for stopping by my page today. It was nice to have a friendly "face" to connect with on SP. Although the Weight Watchers was a great thing for me, I just cannot continue to pay the price to sit where I've "stalled" for the past few months. I have looked at quite a few of the posts regarding WW and I don't seem to be the only one who is struggling to lose anymore on the PointsPlus program. I have been doing a few calculations to see that the daily calories allowed (plus the weekly) is quite a few more calories per week.

There is quite a bit of cynicism over them keeping the calories higher to keep you paying longer. I think while you are WAY overweight it works fine. I think the closer to "normal" (which I've never been accused of) the calories are too much to aid you in losing consistently. Therefore, my decision to jump ship and come back to SP. emoticon

BTW, if there seems to be a lot of typos, I am having a heck of a time seeing my black words on this dark green background. Probably another sign of my advanced age, lol!!

Glad to hear you 're back too. Good luck figuring out your workout schedule. I have been grounded a few weeks now ... first injury on my right shoulder, ,then the cancer surgery on my left. A couple of more weeks and I'll be back to my "30 Day Shred" with that monster, Jillian Michaels. emoticon

Oh well, see you around the SP teams/pages ... and I'll be watching for you on FB!

    Tootles mamacita!
