I have come to the realization that I am a work in progress, an uncut unpolished emerald (go team!) or a "diamond in the rough". I'm learning how to make myself stronger, how to challenge myself and view challenges as an opportunity to grow. I'm learning how to live in harmony with myself.

My Goals:
My overarching goal is to be healthier, I want to be able to do more physically, I want to be a healthy weight and I want to like the way I look. My more specific goals are to run a marathon (long term, 5K this year), and lose about 65 lbs.

My Program:
 I'm starting simple, I'm trying to eat right, watch portions, and exercise while working through the C25K program.

I'm a third year gifted education teacher. I'm a trained musician and a martial artist.
