My goal is to get back into exercising and eating healthier. I have done it in the past, but have picked up some bad habits along the way. The heaviest I was was 203 pounds which was caused by being unhappy in the situation I was in. I didn't feel like I could control anything in my life, so I decided to control my eating. Unfortunately it wasn't a good type of eating. Now I want to get back to the weight I was before, which was around 150 pounds and then evaluate from there.

I have a new found interest in running, but I am by no means a natural runner, so it is really a challenge for me. I started out with the goal of running a 5K and have reached that goal. I have recently completed the C25K and One Hour Runner programs and loved them. I am now going to be training for a half marathon that I hope to run in the Spring. I never thought I would accomplish these goals when I started out. It is amazing how different I feel, how bummed I am when I miss a run, and how much I am loving getting in shape. Running really is helping me to transform my life to something great!

    You do have music right?

    Man I would just go for it, if its in your heart to try it. I have done so much running and the only thing that matters is that I complete my distance and that my player is charged up with some great tunes.

    Thanks for the kudos on my stats, I have been working hard and its paying off. Could I work harder......honestly yes....but I am working hard. I say that because its always good to raise the bar!

    Keep reaching for the stars and keep me posted on your decision. Heck with all the other runners its not like you can chit chat with a buddy.....just find someone a bit ahead of you that you want to pass. Thats what I do....
