Then I'll suggest to you that maybe you're too comfortable at 140 to really go all out to get to 135. :) I'm thinking you may need to drastically change something ... or up the calories you eat AND the exercise you're doing. Something radical that will make your body sit up and take notice! :)

Yoga and pilates both are GREAT for riding. I find myself so much more conscious of my core muscles. When I rode "normal" it was all about leg strength. But Linda really focuses on balance, and you just can't have good balance without a strong core.
Yesterday's class was the perfect combination of stretching and strength. I started the day with a killer headache - caffeine and drugs weren't getting it. But after an hour of yoga, I was blissfully pain free! 4267 days ago

We drove around the Ocala facility once, but everybody was in Pagosa. We've been "doing" Parelli for about 7 or 8 years now, but not fanatically. We are only level 1 graduates - just not enough hours in the day to devote to the horses. I have all the videos and belong to the Savvy Club, we use the basic concepts when we are riding and playing with our horses, but haven't spent lots of time trying to teach them new stuff. One of these days..........
We bought 40 acres in NE Arizona (13 miles from the New Mexico border, just outside of St Johns) so will be fairly close to Pagosa. My sister (in Tucson) drives up every year for the big Savvy Conference. (Now that they aren't having those anymore.........)
It will probably be a couple of years before we move out there though. Gotta wait to sell the place here in Florida. Gotta wait for the real estate market to get it's head on straight. LOL
My husband has always been a motorcycle person (we own a Yamaha dealership) but once he caught the bug - he is almost a bigger horse nut than me!

Hey - I'm walking to work everyday too! Isn't that awesome? 3 miles in, but I go the "long way" through the woods on the way home so it's 5. LOVING it.
