emoticon Your down in the 170's Weight Club. I'm so proud of you. emoticon

emoticon Remember to come back every week and update your weight on the "Lose 25 Pounds in 25 Weeks, TEAM Challenge". It feels great to celebrate by posting losses or keeping track of gains each week (so you can look back on what you have done over the past week, so you can adjust food and exercise). emoticon emoticon

LMONDRICK, That is a great thing to say "I got healthy because of Covid19". That's wonderful to hear. Because a lot of folks have done the opposite since they started staying at home a lot more.

But, why did you have to give up your smoothies? I still have my green smoothies and I doing Keto. I just don't put fruit in them because it's to much sugar for my body. The greens are great for the Keto lifestyle. It keep you from getting a fatty liver.

Look at you down 24.6 pounds! emoticon Thank you for joining us on "Keto - Intermittent Fasting & Dr. Berg's Videos" team. I hope you are watching and learning a lot for the videos. I would love it if you would come and weigh-in with me once a week on the "Lose 25 Pounds in 25 Weeks, TEAM Challenge" thread.

I want to tell you a little bit about my recent history.
I am a diabetic and I have been for many years. About 6 months ago I made up my mind to stop eating anything with sugar in it or that turned to sugar in my body. My goal was to keep my carbs under 30 to 20 grams a day and to get my A1C down from 8.5 to normal.

On May 27th I saw my doctor and I got a message from him on May 29th telling me that he wanted to congratulate me on the enormous success demonstrated by my labs. You are no longer showing any evidence of diabetes, elevated liver enzymes, or elevated triglycerides. Your A1C is 5.0.

I told you this to encourage you (not to brag) in hopes that it will help you, with whatever your health situation is.
