I can tell you she was not happy about sitting for the picture. It took four shots just to get that one. She also has her cheeks sunken in and when she is in that mood, she does something she knows she is not supposed to do just to make me angry. That is her I'm going to make you pay look which, she does not do very often, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. emoticon

Hey, no problem. :) Some people do sell their sea glass creations. Jewelry mostly. This one took many hours and I had never before attempted to do something quite like this before so it is pretty special.

I did learn a lesson though...never start a project of this magnitude on top of your freezer. Because once it is started, until you get it done, you won't be able to get things out of the freezer. lol

It is possible to buy glass and I have worked with glass that I bought in a store but it doesn't have the look of sea glass. Sea glass is naturally tumbled by the motion of the waves until the edges are worn smooth and the glass takes on a "cloudy" look. It can be polished back to a shine or left as is. Either way is beautiful. I have also tumbled some sea glass that had a few sharp edges. The look is totally different than regular sea glass.

I have another project in mind that is going to be HUGE. I want to build a "christmas tree" out of clear/white sea glass, add a few coloured pieces here and there and then put mini lights inside of it to finish. It is going to take a lot of glass and I will have to make sure I don't make it too big, or too heavy...but I am really looking forward to starting this project. :)
