KNOW that there is something INSIDE YOU that is GREATER than ANY obstacle.

Feeling frustrated... switching to P90X hasn't jump started anything. I haven't stuck to it at all.

TurboFIRE is the first program I've been able to stick to, but after about 18 weeks, I was feeling sort of bored, and didn't see many results.. I'm going back to the drawing board.

Maybe ChaLEAN Extreme? Maybe TurboFIRE/CE hybrid? Maybe some combination of running, swimming, lifting? I'm not sure yet, but it's time to get back to it, and time to get rid of this weight for good.

My Goals:
Get under 200lbs before my 30th birthday in July.

Love how I look in a pair of sexy jeans.

Be confident and happy in my own skin.

Be fit, strong, and healthy.


My Program:
Good old-fashioned HARD WORK - no gimmicks, no diets, just exercise and counting calories. Trying to eat mostly clean.

Changing my life one habit at a time:

1. Focus on recognizing and curbing emotional eating.

2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily.

3. Follow the TurboFIRE regular schedule
started: 4/23

Follow the TurboFIRE Prep schedule
started: 2/20
FINISHED!: 4/22

4. Replace one meal or snack with Shakeology




Personal Information:
I'm Becky -- originally from South Jersey, transplanted to Kodiak, Alaska by way of Florida -- complements of the US Coast Guard (aka my husband's job).

I'm a RN, and I know that I need to get healthy :)

We have an 8 year old Jack Russell named Chloe (you can see her standing on my snowshoes)




Other Information:
I love to hike, fish, camp -- anything outdoors really...

If I'm not outside, I'm probably knitting, or working on my BSN online.

I also love taking pictures of anything and everything...

    I did Fire 45 today, too, and for some reason was just not feelin' it. Maybe it's because I worked out in the evening instead of the morning when I usually do. (Of course, that morning time was spent writing the stupid health survey analysis paper...yuck...)

    Good luck on your weight loss journey! It should be a cinch for you, loving all that outdoor stuff that you do! I crochet, not knit, but I know how calming it can be. Just take it one day at a time, and you will get rid of that weight! emoticon

    I am starting week #5 and really love this Primal diet. I don't feel deprived at all. Plus my clothes are getting loose. Not much weight loss and the inches are coming off slowly but they are coming off!


    I heard on the radio that it is better to heal your body and then lose weigth than to think losing weight will heal your body and that is what this lifestyle does for us. It heals us first.
