Hey there- re-found your post about books.
    I like Michael Connelly also.
If you don't mind reeeeaaalllly graphic books, Have you tried any audio books by Jack Kilborn? He has some interesting plots but is indeed very graphic.
One of the first ones I listened to made me pull over the car, cuz I was gagging. That has never happened before. I had found 4 of them at a yard sale. and have passed them or would have sent them to you. If i find any i will send to you. Happy to share. I only use the audio in the cars. I use to travel aot and commur=te was 45 minutes. Now I am retired and still have some in the cars but they are getting harder to find without paying and as everything goes digital and downloads f course. But you could try your local library.
The two I remember for sure are Trapped and Endurance. Jack Kilborn is aka J.A. Conrath. Trapped was the first I read of his. I wish I could remember the other two.
    Happy listening... Gail📕

Our children have had to return to physical schooling. It's scary, adults are not working but the idiots in charge of our country think this will help "get back to normal"... yeah, well.

I'm glad you are enjoying it, it's was a steep learning curve for us to get used to it, but my little girl did really well when we did it March-July.
