Abuzz with change in NEW ZEALAND!
Hallo from New Zealand. Interesting people are giving me a buzz so come and join me. My world is also abuzz with change... I am eager to try new things, to explore. I have learned that exploring recipe books and cooking food from all cultures in the world is not good for the waistline as it is encouraging us as a family to eat more.

In the culinary world, Vegs are my bestest friends, followed by limited portions of fruit, then legumes and yes, I eat meat but I stay away from refined carbs including flour and added sugar.
I do love a couple of squares of dark chocolate from 70% cacao upwards.
My favourite exercises are walking and the Elliptical.
A good movie is something I prefer to theatre. A good book make my heart sing and my bed...never puffed up or angry, never any back chat, it is just there ready to give me what I want. One day I will write a poem about my love relationship with my bed. Ha -ha.

My Goals:
To love and be loved.
To promote love, peace and harmony, with other members of the human race, the animal kingdom and our wonderful planet but mostly with myself.
My Program:
Abundance of good nutrition...I am a firm believer of "nushi gusui" Japanese for "may your food (and lifestyle) heal."
I eat plain food with limited human intervention.
Doing exercise 6 days of the week.
My Guru is Dr. John Tickell of Australia with the Great Australian Diet. Long life Dr. John!
Personal Information:
My name is Maggie and I am happily married to Roelf, the love of my life. My children (3 boys) are adults now and I have time to look after myself and time to record what I do. I like that.
My grandchildren are also boys, and the two of them living in South Africa with their parents.
We are ex-South African but living in New Zealand for 18 years.
Other Information:
"Hakuna Matata" No worries... as life is at times too negative and life is so short.
I love reading and have a huge knowlege of nutrition. I hope with the help of Spark to put it into action.
