Hey there!

My name is Hannah and I'm a choir director at a mission school for kids from all over the world. The position is unique - Not only do I teach, but I also live with our high school girls 24/7. And not only do I teach, travel with the choir, and live with the girls, but I'm also in charge of campus security (yes, really) and I'm a librarian as well.

Two years ago I lost 35 lbs. and felt AMAZING. Since making the move from Indiana to where I am now, I've gained 28 of those pounds back that I worked SO hard to lose. I've realized that there is a deeply-rooted spiritual issue tied to this, and I know I can't do this on my own. I've surrendered this to the Lord and I'm just trying to be faithful in the way I steward my time and what I put into my body and choose to use my body for.

I love my life here at the school, and I want to be the best I can be to first of all glorify God and show that it's only by His power that I have any amount of success. I want to be faithful to the call He's placed on my life as best as I can be, and that involves making my health a priority. Second, I want to do this for me. I need to be healthy, as I have PCOS and am at risk for Type 2 diabetes for the years of abuse I've heaped on myself through my diet. Third, I'm doing this for my kiddos. I want to be able to play basketball and soccer with our boys and help the girls with their shotput form and run with them for cross country season. Fourth, I'm doing this for my boyfriend. He deserves a woman who is at her best physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

My Goals:
*Lose 85 lbs. by September 19, 2017.
*Begin intense weight training after dropping the initial 85 lbs. to lose 20 more lbs. and gain it back in pure muscle.
*Develop a consistent sleep schedule
*No more eating after 8 p.m.!


My Program:
*Controlled carbs
*Limited eating in the evenings
*Good sleep
*Some form of exercise 5-6 days a week
