My name is Jan and I am a 56 year old wife and mom. My girls are grown but still close... My husband is my best friend and we work and have fun together every day. I live in northern california. I love my my dogs and am very involved in the rescue community. I have basically been over weight since my early 20's with 5 or 10 pounds adding up each year until I didnt want to be fat anymore. I joined here in March of 2010. I lost 70 pounds, then gained some back but I never quit. My goal is to get back to that 70 pound loss and BEYOND! I have gathered so much support from everyone here and from my family, and it helps me every day. I didn't know how fun it could be to lose weight and live my life. My goal is to lose over 100 pounds and I know I can do it. Thank you for reading this and helping me on my way! I like to laugh and I like to have fun. Life is too short not to! I want to make the most of my life and losing weight will helped me do that. Update Dec.1, 2018. My habits have finally caught up with me. I never had bad numbers but I do now. High blood pressure, cholesterol and A1c Blood sugar. I’ve started medication but my goal is to get the weight off and get off these meds. I know I can and I’m ready!
