    You are wondering how to record your exercise.
    Here it is straight from Leslie how she calculates calories burned in her exercises:

    I find the time on either the DVD I use at home or listed on her YouTube videos.
    Also, you can record your workout in the Fitness tracker. At the top of your personal page there are tabs; hover your mouse over the one that says or use your fingers (I still use a wireless mouse) and the third selection will be my Fitness. You can record your workout there and it will be recorded also on your Feed and SP takes note of it.
