My sister found Sparkpeople years ago and told me about it when I was first trying to lose weight. I've been trolling the site ever since, but have never really followed it through. Two pregnancies later, I'm the largest I've ever been.

I have 2 girls- a 6 year old and a 3 year old. Both were preemies- my first born at 30 weeks, my 2nd at 32 weeks. I got up to 200 lbs with my first and worked pretty hard with SparkCoach to get back down to 180 before I got pregnant again. During my second pregnancy, I got up to 218 lbs. Funny that with both pregnancies, I never lost any weight after the birth- I was 218 at my last pregnancy weigh in, and I'm 218 now!

I'm going to change that- but more importantly, this time around I want to love myself. I am wanting to be healthy and lose weight and exercise, but even more than that, I want to feel like a valuable human being as I am NOW, before I've lost any weight, before I get healthy. I want those other things to come FROM my love, not the other way around.

Update: (January 2019) I've lost 15 pounds so far- doesn't sound like much, but I've worked hard for it!

My Goals:
BIG GOAL: learn to love myself and feel valuable no matter what size or shape I am, take better care of my body through healthy eating and exercise

Fast Break Goals:
1. Eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
2. Get some kind of movement in daily.
3. Get up without hitting the snooze button.

My Program:
I want to really focus on loving and caring for myself. I want to read things that will help me learn how to do that, take time to do the things I love, fill my own well so I can be a better mother and wife.

Personal Information:
I live in a small town in Colorado- my hometown actually! But I've lived for many years in Los Angeles and Austin, TX and I've traveled all over. In the end, I love small towns the best- and one in the mountains is even better!

Thank you for your sweet thoughts anywhere on my page. I love them. They fill empty spots that other wise would not be filled That is because no one else can take your place. You are unique, special, wanted, needed and important to all who know and don't know you yet. Please let me know if you do not appreciate my sometimes silly literary alliterations. Some do not like the "copy and paste" things, only personal notes. PersonalIy I like to be remembered with any comment. But of course I want and aim to please, not offend and just have fun.

"Tuesday; "taste the tongue twister" of a totally terrific, trimming, thriving team that transcends, titter tottering on the untrained, but now triumphant tongue that treasures and touts thanksgiving, topping all for a thriving team; the tutoring, trusted in Lord and thee, where sweetness thrives."
