Introduction Text Greetings, my name is Myriah. I've come to Spark People because it's time to get it done and let go of the wanting, wishing, wondering why I haven't let my body match the image I have inside. I'm looking for the spark that will ignite my ooomph, the ability to say I did it. I've got a wonderful life and I need the energy to go with it!

To have my BMI in the healthy range. Which means I have about 15 pounds to go.

Seek to eat within my calorie range. It's a dangerous path frought with many temptations and hazards. Exercise includes yoga 2-3 times a week; bicycling, walking, hiking, endeavoring some form of exercise 5 days a week.

I enjoy hiking, biking (not mountain biking), walking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, being in nature. Playing with the grand kids and being with my children. Crocheting and embroidery, as well as a huge variety other art forms.

My work involves residential care and recreation with special needs adults. I'm also involved in a hospice choir called the Harmony Chorus. We sing to patients at their home, as well as in the hospital or nursing home setting. We also sing to a variety of patients in the hospital, as well as new borns. What a joy to sing the first lullaby to a little one!
