Time for another update.... I have been trying to figure out what the best "eating plan" for me is lately... I have been doing a TON of reading, listening to podcasts, and talking to others. I re-joined WW on-line in September of 2012, realized that I needed to join the meetings to get free meetings after getting to Lifetime, so I re-joined going to WW meetings in December. I am close to my "WW goal" weight, but have another 10-15 pounds to my actual goal. I started experimenting with Paleo around Thanksgiving, and I am starting a Whole30 on 1/02/13. I had a goal of 12 races in 2012... which I surpassed by 2!!! I am planning on concentrating improving my half marathon time next year.

I just got done training for, and running, my second marathon the day before yesterday!!!!! I was able to get to my WW "goal" weight of 160 (my "real" goal is 155 or lower) the week of Christmas 2011, but wasn't able to maintain it for 6 weeks... I ended up gaining over 10 pounds between Christmas and NYE. I started marathon training in January, and was bouncing around 170 since.... NO MORE!!!!! I am getting to my goal weight now!!!!!

Update time again!!!
I had managed to get within 12 pounds of my 155 goal, I believe it was in July or August, but a couple of weeks ago, was back up to 181.... Yikes!!!!
So, I joined Weight Watchers about 3 weeks ago. OK, I re-joined WW!!! I have done WW's 3 times now, and have never made it to my goal weight, which I am going to change this time!!!!

Update time!!!
I have been on here again for about 3 months!!! I have to admit that I wasn't putting as much effort as I should have been for about two of those months. I started calorie cycling on 6/ 15/11 and more importantly have been tracking better than ever before!!!!

I am a (occasional) veterinarian and a (mostly) stay at home mom of two wonderful little boys, born in Nov. of 2008 and Sept. of 2010. I was able to lose the pregnancy weight fairly easy the first time, but the weight loss has stalled this time around. My youngest just turned 6 months, so I need to get motivated to lose the last several pounds of pregnacy weight and a few (like 10) more!!!!

    Thanks for the blog support last week. I needed every ounce of encouragement that I could get. The presentation went fine, I was extremely anxious for it but I tried to speak clearly and not shake too much. I am so happy to have it behind me. Now I have no excuse to lose control with my eating habits, not that the presentation was a valid excuse!

    My best miles are 7.5 minutes but sometimes I average 8-8.5 even when I am racing. You are right though, I think I could run a half marathon if I allowed myself to be a little slower. Sometimes I wear myself out too early, especially in a 10K.

    I think you need to go to your Fitbit page on the Internet to add a picture. That's how I did it, anyway. Do you have any other friends on here that I might know who also have fitbit? I requested from Steph (GUCCI) but she hasn't responded yet.

    Hmm, that's odd. There is a link at the bottom of the blog page that says "Atom Feed" - you should be able to click on that and sign up to follow. I still haven't figured out all of this blogger stuff yet though. Maybe I need to make a setting switch.
