These are a couple of my favorite inspirational quotes. There are many times that I have made a poor choice (failing at that moment) but it doesn't have to dictate my day.

I repeat the sentence below often as a reminder for me to keep working at it.

I love myself enough to change my lifestyle....I know it's not easy and will take a lot of work and dedication, but it'll be worth it.

My family deserves it....above all else, I deserve it.

I am an avid gardener and scrapbooker. I enjoy spending time with my husband and my daughter.

I have found that I enjoy things like kickboxing, riding my bicycle, rollerblading. I no longer feel limited!

    Hi there! Welcome back! Thanks for stopping by my feed. I explained all in the last blog, "To Save My Life - What Does It Finally Take?" I'm hoping to lose 20 pounds by October 9th, when I will have repeat blood work. I'm now officially prediabetic, and I have absolutely no intention of graduating to diabetes. It's an amazing thing: Once confronted with a serious health issue how fast it is that one can give away all the usual "lovers" like cake, candy and ice cream. Frankly, I'm much fonder of my extremities, and hope to continue to be attached to them for a long time to come. That's what my streak is about in a nutshell: 82 days and counting and I promised to post the results, good, bad or otherwise as I count down, in case anyone might be interested besides myself. emoticon

    Hope things have calmed down for you, and you're ready to throw yourself into your self-dedication. It's not a bad thing. Sometimes we need to sequester time for ourselves, to recharge. I believe that doing so, allows us to better interact with those closest to us.
