It's a beautiful day! :) :) :) I am thankful for everyday. I am thankful that I get to spend it with my Mom and Stepdad. We all live together, I care for Mom almost full time now. She makes me laugh everyday. I feel so lucky that i get to spend every day with her. There's no where else I would rather be right now :) Mom is ONE of the reasons I decided I needed to lose some weight. I was struggling with her wheelchair trying to get it in and out of the car. After only a couple of minutes pushing her around I would lose my breath and have to stop for a breather. I said to myself "I've got to do this better" Mom has a "need for speed" lol. So I decided to get in better shape. I admit it can be very challenging for me at times but I wont quit. I NEED to do this. I am almost 50 and have spent most of my life living unhealthy. I smoked for 35yrs, ate bad food for most of my life, and I partied in my younger years. I want to do better now and stop abusing myself. I quit smoking 6yrs ago, stopped partying almost 20yrs ago, and now its time to train my brain to heat healthier. Food seems to be the hardest for me out of all my bad choices. I love food more than anything. Chocolate is my nemesis. I am determined, through every struggle and downfall is a lesson learned. Learn from my mistake and pick myself up and get back at it. Never give up no matter how hard it gets! and believe me, it can get hard at times. I dont lose weight easily, I have an underactive thyroid and deal with fibromyalgia but anything WORTH doing doesnt come to us easy. We have to work our butts off for it. Makes it all worth it though doesnt it? :) When I see a pound lost its the best feeling in the world because i earned it!

My Goals:
To be my best. I want to be as healthy as I possibly can. I want to easily catch my breath and not have it run off to where its almost unattainable.

My Program:
I want to build strength and get healthy. Currently I am riding my stationary bike 6 or 7kms 3 times per week. I am walking 3-4 kms the other 3days per week. I lift weights 3-4 times per week. Sunday I rest my body :)

Personal Information:
My friends and my family are my world. Especially my mom as we live in the same house now :) . Even though I take care of her..............she is truly my rock. We take care of each other in different ways. I take care of a lot of her physical needs and she takes care of reminding me of things I need to get done in life. I have fibromyalgia and deal with Fibrofog everyday now. Between the two of us, we get er done :)

I work part time helping the elderly. I help them tend to everyday tasks that they cant do alone anymore. I am their extra pair of hands. I love my work, I love to help, but most of all I love their company and I absolutely love listening to their stories of the "olden days" I can listen for hours to stories of the 40's and 50's and the roaring 60's! Its not just work, It's laughter, Many smiles and stories.........................Its friendship.
