    Hey, Buddy! Haven't heard from you lately. I've been struggling with a bad bout of sciatica--worst ever in my life, but I found the silver lining. I'm now able to DO the recommended exercises to alleviate things. 7 months ago it was physically impossible with my weight. Also finally found a doc who injected me with something for some relive. After 4 days of little over 2 hours of sleep, I finally got 7 hours yesterday plus a 3 hour nap after the shots!!! And a full 7.5 hours last night. I am ECSTATIC! Before the shots I couldn't even sleep in my own bed.

    We were able to postpone our Stateside departure for one day, which is wonderful. I've lost 3 days of prep time. Exercise is only what I can push myself to do of normal activities--did manage 10 minutes outside to check the status of my garden plants. So . . . with my activity so low now, weight loss is a minor priority. I've held my own though, which is good. I haven't fallen into comfort foods and overeating. WHAHOO!

    How are you? Is your daughter's surgery date set? And . . . we will be in Texas and driving through Dallas several times. Somehow I have in my head that maybe you live in Texas and/or Dallas? Sometimes we're pressed for time as we travel, BUT we have to eat! Maybe we could meet if that sounds like a possibility for you.

    OK, I give up . . . How many of these Thin Mints do I have to eat before I see results?!

    The only thing about me that’s getting thinner these days is my hair.

    There should be a way to get a refund for calories for things that just didn’t taste as good as expected.
