I was born in 1942 - widowed and have 5 girls, 4 married and 9 grandchildren.
My middle daughter and I are living together.
I have tropical fish.
My daughter has a cat.
And adding SparkPeople to my life is proving to be a wonderful addition.
Especially the wonderful people on the message boards
I am from the "windy city" Chicago, Illinois

Fitness Minutes: 40

My Goals:
With age my metabolism has slowed down and it seems that whatever I put in my mouth makes the numbers on the scale go up.















I haven't exercised for years and that is something I have to work on also.

My Program:
 I am trying to get all my water in and also working on my snacking during the day. The snacking is my downfall.

I am also trying to add my walking tape to my day.

Other Information:
 Working on crafts such as - crocheting, knitting, cross-stitch is something I always enjoy. Listening to country music is a nice way to round out my time.















In the summer I love to work in my garden.















My greatest pleasure is spending time with my family.

    Wow, I am probably pretty late with this, since I just started researching Neuropathy and it's symptoms. But if your still around, check with your Dr. or Pharmacist about Sulpher, that's what the Dr. prescribed for me when I kept getting ingrown toe nails (shoes, I'm sure) But that was long ago, and I haven't had an ingrown now in forever. Actually after going through that pain, I am very careful with my toe nails, keep them manicured. Also was told by the Dr. to clip a v in the nail, so it would grow together, and not into the sides of my toes. I know this isn't an ingrown toe nail for you, but who knows it might work but talk to your Dr. first.
