Hey, my name is Morgan. I'm turning 24 in less than a month. I'm not sure how it happened, but less than a week ago, I stumbled onto SparkPeople's website. I can already feel a change coming!

Recently, I managed to lose a little more than 40 pounds with a medically supervised program. While the program certainly helped me achieve my goals and gave good advice on how to continue to live healthy, it kind of sets you free after you finish! In the last two weeks, I found myself slipping a little with the food I was eating. Even just being here for less than a week, I've already become motivated to get right back on track! I know that it's really all me, but this site is making me actually WANT to do it.

Now for the basics about me! I've never been much for exercising. However, since losing some of the weight, I've got so much more energy. The exercises I enjoy doing are aerobics and kickboxing classes, walking/running (working up to it), and free weights. I've recently discovered the joy of spinning. It's something I absolutely LOVE to do. It's hard work but I always feel amazing after each class. I only wish that my gym would offer classes more than 3 days a week...well, classes that aren't at 5 am! lol!

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to the journey that I now find myself on! Laissez le bon temps rouler!

-Jog a mile in 11:00-Met 5.8.2011
-Jog a mile in 10:30
-30 full situps in less than 1 min
-20 toe pushups in less than 1 min


My Program:
Monday: Jog 2.5-3 miles
Tuesday: Spin Class w/ short jog after
Wednesday: Kickboxing
Thursday: Spin Class w/ short jog after
Friday: Jog 2.5-3 miles
Sunday (maybe): Spin class
