How are you doing today? I'm really pleased with myself! I've put on a crockpot of cream of leek soup (with unsweetened soy milk and light butter) and marched in place the whole time I was chopping and preparing. I also put the crockpot across the kitchen so I had to march over to add ingredients. Got in 20 min of decent cardio for free! Still need to do my SP video for 8 wk Diabetic Challenge. Have you tried any of the videos? I got hooked doing the January Jumpstart Challenge. emoticon

Thank you for adding me as a friend. We do have a lot in common. I had my left TKA April 2010. I have torn the meniscus in the right knee now. I don't have insurance right now so just dealing with the pain. I can get insurance for pre-existing conditions in May. I'm looking forward to getting it better. I am not going to work until after the surgery. I understand the boredom. I may sign up at the senior center for the indoor pool.
I read your blogs. You will be so happy that you had that knee done. The PT is hard but in the end the results are great. My mom and step mom had their knees done within 6 months of mine. They are very pleased. I barely have a 90 degree bend due to the bed rest with the spine fracture after the knee replacement. I keep moving to the best of my ability. Swimming is awesome for your knee! Keep up the good work. Protect the rest of your body. Nursing is so hard on us physically. Thank goodness for the blessings and the patients that warm the cockles of out hearts. God bless!

Thank you for the friend add and for the encouragement on my New Team Needed blog! I see we're neighbors. I'm in Pinellas. Looks like you're making great progress in spite of the knee issues. There's still plenty you can do, like Sit and Be Fit. I used it when I was laid up after foot surgery. With some persistence and imagination, you can always find a way. emoticon
