MANY MANY things have changed in my life over these last few years I have been away, some good, some not so great, but I take ALL these things as lessons learned and grow stronger every day! :) I have met a man I love dearly (yes, that is a bit of an explanation you will have to check into my blog for details.) I have grown and changed immeasurably. My confidence is at a peak right now even though my weight is not NEAR where I want it to be! I am a much better person than I was a few years ago, as I have undergone some DRASTIC life changes. I am ready to jump on the crazy train and make my way back to where I want to be physically, mentally and strenghth-wise. :)

I am making SP a part of my life until my very last breath, I have decided on this.
SP has changed me in so many ways, it is just unimaginable what this place can do for a person.
This page constantly forces me to take a deeper look within myself at my accomplishments so far mentally and what I want for my future.
Life is definitely a rollercoaster and I will enjoy the ride every minute!:D

All the little things in life!
Everything is something in this journey.

Walking, healthy eating, pushups, situps, jumping jacks, jump rope.

I also see my doctor and nutritionist regularly to make sure that I am keeping myself on track health-wise. I TRY to make sure I am writing down everything I eat in my food journal, it's hard some days, but, I notice I do better and better when I keep remembering to write it all down. I also keep a rather consistent blog here to help me deal with anything that is on my mind.

HI! So I set my new goal. Do you think I can lose 100 in 1 year? That is what my goal is. If I don't reach it, I am ok with that, but I would like to get close. I have three days a week of strength training, then five days a week of cardio, where I switch between walking and dancing (I am trying to learn how to dance again.... damn you chemotherapy!). Right now I am 43% of the way, and the year is only 41% done. Yay mathematics! Breakfast time now. Just thought I would update you on the awesome!

I figured out the ticker thing! Woohoo! So, I have been kinda sad lately because the awesome amount of weight I lost the last few weeks has not continued into this week. However, I think I am starting to build muscle, which could be the reason for this. If not, I will be even more sad! I also have been sent on a mission from my boss and a co-worker of mine that I have to spend 20 minutes a day doing nothing.... and I have to attempt meditation every day too. They are worried about my stress, and they think once I get that under control then this whole weight loss thing will go smoother for me. Maybe you could try it too!

Wow. Today's workout was rough! Holy cow. I am doing two videos (I alternate which ones I feel like doing all the time) for cardio, and then one strength training one, and uff da.... it has tired me out like it never has before! What a way to start my week four! Hey... how did you get the weight tracker on your page? I was trying to find how to do that... and I can't find it.... and I would like one.

I find that I don't really feel accomplished in this game unless I see the numbers on the scale go down. I feel better, stronger, skinnier even, but unless I see the numbers drop, I really don't feel accomplished.

PS- Yes, Alex has grown into quite the amazing little boy. He is helping a lot with this particular journey, much like he has with everything else that has happened since he was born.

I don't really drink a lot of soda, but when I do its usually Dr. Pepper Ten or Diet Pepsi O. I mostly carry around my water bottle. For breakfast (after cardio), I usually have a thing of Yoplait light with my vitamin, and I work at the Cheese Corner (we have one in La Crosse now), so its easy for me to eat healthy there (salad, or just a simple turkey sandwich... we have 500 club options!).

I also found that having the apps on my phone (the daily tracker and the recipes) makes it so much easier! That and, chasing after a 5 year old, it all helps!

So far, it has just been a battle of making me think differently. Making me realize I have the time to make these changes... I have the time to devote to myself and my own well being.
