Well, my last update referred to moving towards retirement...it's now been two weeks since I retired and several months since I that last post. I'm going to credit COURT for getting me on track. I'd been thinking I needed to recommit, and then she sent me an email. Thanks so much COURT!

Retirement still feels surreal, in fact I was surprised to note that it's been two weeks, feels like just yesterday! But in this pandemic-fueled twilight zone time seems to have lost it's meaning entirely. This week has been terrible for eating and it's time to reign it in. Fortunately (or unfortunately) the scale has been pretty stable, but I know that my eating hasn't moved me towards my health goals. So, time to get serious...yet again...sigh...hopefully this time it will really take hold. One upside is that I can't complain about being too busy with work to do proper tracking!

My Goals:
Get below my official WW goal of 140 pounds, I'd love to weigh-in at 135 and have a few pounds of 'cushion', honestly, I'd be thrilled to see that scale go to 139 - heck, at this point breaking into the 140s is a victory!


My Program:
Eating healthier and strength training - keep up the good work with aerobic and cardio that I already rock.



Personal Information:
I live at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Northern Colorado. We enjoy wonderfully mild weather so I've got no excuses for not getting out and moving this old body.


Other Information:
Trying, like the rest of the world, to figure out how to navigate the world in these trying times. Staying on track is tough for me, for the past several months in isolation my mantra has been every cookie needs a buddy. Not a mantra for successful weight loss!

    Hi Nell, brrrr, don't envy your weather. I remember the shoveling and slip sliding around while driving. Jim and I worked out okay after we both retired. I retired first so have a few years to myself. 'Yay!'

    Hey--goodie went off before I finished my sentence. Hahahaha
    We have been waiting a year for this show to come to Charlotte. Tickets have been hard to obtain but I finally managed to score 2 more tickets so my daughter/DIL can attend next Friday. We're babysitting for them. Gave this as a combined birthday/anniversary gift. My daughter was a theatre graduate so this is a big deal for her.
