Introduction Text I'm slowly taking off the extra weight that I've carried around, but more importantly I've learned a healthier lifestyle, one that I'm sure I'll be able to stick with for life... and I'm making better choices for my family too, so that maybe when they have their own children they will serve them veggies and fruits! I'm starting a new routine of jogging for cardio and strength training... I'll soon be buying heavier weights. I think I'll be able to do it! I currently doing low carb and am serious about losing FAT!!! You all know what I'm talking about! I need some encouragement sometimes....so feel free to give me some!

I would really like for my children not to be embarrassed to be seen with me at the beach without a coverup! But long term... I'd just like to be as healthy as I can be... after all my body is the temple of Christ and it should be treated that way!

I've started to make cardio my main focus... I know cardio burns the fat and I'd like my bf% to be under 18%. 3 days/wk I do spark strength training, and I've started my routine like my husbands. Work out different muscle groups once during the weekly cycle... example, one day is chest, tri's and calves... then they don't get worked again until the following Monday... it's worked great for him, so we'll see about me! I'm doing the c25k program with my friend Amandabl.... Week 1 completed 7/4/08 5mph week 2 completed 7/11/08 5.5mph week 3 completed 8/1/08 5.2mph.... and that's what happens when you go 2 weeks without jogging! week 4 completed 8/8.... low carb and running do not go hand in hand! week 5 week 6 week 7 week 8 week 9

I'm from whoville in upstate NY... I'm married to my prince charming and I have two children from a previous marriage that are my pride and joy, and we just adopted a son from Guatemala last spring, and he is without a doubt our entertainment every evening.

Christ is my passion. I love Him, He is my best friend and the lover of my soul. Without Him my life would be fruitless and empty!
