The posture my guru Jake recommended is actually "Thunderbolt", in which the knees are kept together... In either case, I'm still at the (primitive) stage in which I'm sitting on a block & utilizing extra padding under ye olde sore knees.
I have a similar problem with squats - no way are my hips or knees letting me get all the way down!
I'm 56 so I think that puts us 9-10 yrs apart. And I **MIGHT** let an MD close enough to inject my knee w/some HA if this doesn't calm down soon (eyeing the vial of Legend on my shelf).
I really like Z's sports medicine docs - Dr Moore for his knee** (!!!), Dr Stewart for both shoulders. My poor boy seems to be as much of an orthopedic disaster area as I am.

** Z's knee sprain was caused by an open-field tackle by his stepbrother at age 12. At the time we were very concerned about possible growth-plate damage (which thank God did not occur, but Dr Moore ordered an MRI since he was very painful at the time)

I had two colors in the 64 crayon box that always got used up first... maybe three. Sea green, periwinkle, and sky blue. Yep, pastels, all.

I am embarrassed to say that after I roasted a box of those Brussels sprouts, when my husband refused to eat any -- I ate them all myself. Waaay too much!!
