I'm a Canadian part-time Baker, full-time Administrative Professional, who has let herself slide body-wise and self image-wise in the last several years. But, no more! My primary goal is to lose a literal butt-load of weight and get healthy while doing it. My secondary goal is to keep it off for good this time. I figure it'll be a lot easier to lose the weight and get healthy if I have fun while I'm doing it...that's where SparkPeople comes in! I even bought a FitBit and am doing all the linky things I can do to keep on top of my motivation to be healthier and slimmer. Starting weight: 275 lbs Weight loss goal: 175 lbs

My Goals:
1) To lose 100 lbs by February 28, 2017.

2) To regain my stamina and strength in arms, legs, and back, and lose the buddha belly!

3) To learn how to consistently make healthier, protein-rich vegetarian food choices.

4) To vastly reduce my consumption of restaurant and fast food meals, and cook for myself and my family consistently (minimum 6 days/week).

5) To improve my motivation and perseverance

My Program:
1) Joined SparkPeople!

2) Bought a scale for weekly weigh-ins.

3) Joined a slew of interesting SparkTeams to keep motivated.

4) Bought a FitBit instead of a gym membership.

5) Using my stationary cycle at home at least 3x/week.

6) Did a comprehensive overhaul of what I eat and how much of it I eat; I am essentially working on changing my current relationship to food.

@250 lbs: Pedicure

@225 lbs: Facial treatment and hot wax foot wrap! Ohhh yeeeaaahhhh...)

@200 lbs: Digital SLR photography class @ Henry's Camera

@160lbs: GOAL WEIGHT!! Little Black Dress time!!!

Other Information:
I love to read, play on my computer and PS4, and watch movies and tv shows on Netflix (all sedentary activities, I know)!

I'm starting to get into the SCA, and researching garb construction and jewellery making. I'm really enjoying meeting new SCA friends and their medieval personas!

    Hi there!

    I saw your page in passing on a forum post and was immediately interested (platonically!) with your profile picture (I have a weee bit of an obsession with baking), so I figured I'd stop on by your profile and see! There's a few things I wanted to share:

    1. You're probably the first Sparker that I've seen from the GTA other than my family! It was nice to see. I'm personally from Mississauga.

    2. I am super jealous of your job! I love to bake, but I've never truly pursued it education/career wise, so I shouldn't complain, but still... Jealous!

    Hail Miss Canadian. Just wanted to drop a line. I married a Canadian from Sudbury Ontario. Now he lives in Texas with me.

    I don't know how you do it. Cakes, pies and pastry are my weakness. and you do such beautiful and I bet tasty work. yum.
