I hit the big 60 this year. I don't feel old and enjoy my life.

I joined Sparkpeople a few years ago and got myself into healthy eating. The one thing I could not wrap my head around was the food tracking. I saw a great difference in my health, energy and stress levels. I saw some improvement in weight but nothing compared to what I see others accomplish.

So last week I joined you all and started tracking my food. It paid off and I lost 1.5 pounds right off the bat. So I'm back on track and plan to keep making progress. Thanks Sparkpeople for always being here and not charging fees.

I have never been able to run, even when I was a skinny teen. But I want to be able to run/jog/walk a half marathon and then a 1marathon. Right now I'll stick to 5Ks but continue to try and reach this goal.

Weight goals:
- get below 160 - done
- get below 150
- get below 145
- get below 140

Fitness/jogging goals:
- get ready for the 5k at the 2011 Princess Half Marathon the end of February - done
- do the 5k better than the last time - much better 44 minutes - just barely better
- sign up for another 5k- done - 2012 WDW Marathon 5k
- beat 44 minutes 5k - done

- Baltimore Half-Marathon 10/12/2013
- Disney Tower of Terror 10 Miler 10/5/2013
- Disney Princess Half-Marathon 2/24/2013

- WDW Expedition Everest 5k, Obstacle and Scavenger May 2012 - 45 minutes
- WDW Marathon 5k Jan 2012 - 50 minutes
- Beauty and Beast 5k March 2011: 42 minutes or better
- Mickey's Halloween 5k 10/10/2010: 49 minutes
- Princess and the Frog 5k: 3/6/2010
- Up & Away 5k 1/8/2010: My first 5k and lucky the sweeper didn't get me

Bellin 10k June 2012: lots of blisters on my feet but I finished

I am a book nut, always reading.

I love to camp and go places in the RV. Absolute favorite place is Fort Wilderness in DisneyWorld.
