Introduction Text I am 69 years old and happily married to my hubby for almost 46 years! We live in the country on 120 acres, and we live in an old farmhouse that was built around 1800. We have a "furry baby" who is a beautiful German Shepherd Dog. My hubby is a disabled Viet Nam vet who treats me like a princess! I'm definitely Blessed! I've gone through over 20 surgeries in the past 6 years and spent 57 days in an ICU on life support then several more months in the hospital. Even though I was told I'd never walk again, I'm walking!! As a result of many years in a wheelchair, my walking is wobbly and I've gained a large amount of weight. I'm now working hard to get my weight under control. Spark friends are a great support system!
