I am a lifelong learner. I recently retired, downsized to a small apartment, and am enjoying doing a lot of things I didn’t have time for previously. I sort of stumbled on SparkPeople and I love it! There is good info here and lots of encouragement. THANKFUL! Feeling better today. I have some stuff to get done around the house, which is okay because it’s gloomy. I will save the errands for a sunnier day! Down 2 pounds! I felt so good and happy yesterday. Getting ‘off the couch’ ...
I am a lifelong learner. I recently retired, downsized to a small apartment, and am enjoying doing a lot of things I didn’t have time for previously. I sort of stumbled on SparkPeople and I love it! There is good info here and lots of encouragement. THANKFUL! Feeling better today. I have some stuff to get done around the house, which is okay because it’s gloomy. I will save the errands for a sunnier day! Down 2 pounds! I felt so good and happy yesterday. Getting ‘off the couch’ was exactly what I needed! I am a little sore this Morning but that’s not a bad thing. Baby steps will get me there! I LOVE SUNDAY! It’s my favorite day of the week. Oh my! I haven’t been on here in QUITE a long time (and the proof is on the scale)! So many life changes including moving out of state into a ‘retirement residence’ (should be read as ‘old folks home’. I am still independent living and the youngest one here.). My new home is really BRAND new and lovely. I really like it here and I am only 3 miles from my kids and grandkids. Anyway, it is time to get SERIOUS about getting healthy! So I am BACK - because I know we can do this together!

Hi there...so rest days sick lpl. But someone said we can do a different cardio workout that works muscles differently. I'll try that next time. I need that endorphin kick.
