Introduction Text Wow ... if someone had told me three years ago I would be happy, living life to the fullest, and looking forward to tomorrow ... I would have told them to go bother someone else. That's how I felt when my whole world collapsed and the one person who loved me with all their heart was suddenly called home to live in a heavenly environment. I entered into a dimension of total devastation. I am here today only by the grace of God giving me strength every day, the love of my daughters and sister, friends, and church family ... thank you! I am ready to get started on sculpting a new me. Last year at age 60 I completed a Triathlon in Austin, TX and I am so proud that I finished the race ... not in record time, but I did beat the personal goal I set by three minutes. Here's to everyone out there who has gone through total devastating events in their lives and survived ... now it's YOUR turn to LIVE .......

To be strong, healthy, and full of life and not be a "rocking chair" Grandma. God has blessed me in life with a healthy body & mind, so it's up to me to keep it that way!

I've decided to begin eating a balanced blend of foods again and cutting out the majority of sugar I've been ingesting since the holidays. I believe we've been given exactly what we need to eat healthy ... we just choose not to. I don't believe in using gimmicks, drugs, or any other method to help me lose unwanted weight. I plan to include moderate exercise to supplement my healthier food choices.

I am a mom of three beautiful adult daughters and a grandmother to two very active grandsons who are ALL boy. I am also a widow, but today that does not define who I am. My family may be small, but the strength and love we all share is insurmountable to say the least. I thank God for getting me to a place in life where I literally cherish each day He has given me.

Learn to live and enjoy each day to the fullest as if it were your last.
