Not muslin but sail cloth works. I got lucky found what I wanted and bought the bolt. That was along time ago.. it is 100% cotton, twill weave and in England we called it sail cloth or play cloth. Muslin is too thin for rice it works for buckwheat but I do not like buckwheat I feel it lets dust out . I like the rice. I could send you one sewn but you will have to fill it 'cos a rice bag when I made them and mailed them cost too much. Let me know where to send it. I like to make big ones because I use them for my lower back. The Channels keep them flat. I used to make 8 by 10 and 10 by 12 Now I rip the 60 inch fabric at 15 inches and it makes 2 big ones. I used to make them like pillowcase all sewn and turned inside so no edges. now I use sergers and they go much faster. I make the bag Fold in half sew down the middle fold from fold to top, Then make the channel about 21/4" wide Makes 6 channels. Fill the channels using a funnel to halfway no more otherwise it is too hard and not able to fold to put in microwave on smaller models.

That's. about all let me know HUGS Pat in Maine .HUGS emoticon emoticon

    Linda,

Gosh darn-it! you are such a sweet-heart I wish I was your neighbor! I really mean that :) You would be so cool to live next door to. Thank you so much for the gift card. I would really like to see where you live. I bet it is really nice in the spring and summer. I bet there are really great days in the winter too. Where I live it's just freakin' hot in the summer. No trees, no shade, no lakes... I have to drive to see all of that. Linda I hope that when you read this that you and your familia are great. I hope that you are all doing well and are in good health. Take care and be good to yourself:L :)
