I'm a 32 year old mom of a 6 year old. I just want to get back to a weight that makes me feel happy. My goal for 2016 is to track my food. This is a struggle for me and I need to keep it in check. I also plan on doing a half marathon, did this last year but neglected to train. Going to try again this year and be prepared. Also signed up for a Triathlon Sprint!

My Goals:
I want to do a pull up so badly.

I want to fit comfortably in a size 8 pants.

I want to one day complete the Dopey Challenge in Disney World.

I want to get strong and healthy for me and my daughter

My Program:
I workout with a group of women and 4 of us maintain a pretty steady schedule that goes something like this:
Mon- Thurs group workout with varies day to day
Friday- your choice
Saturday- Insanity
Sunday- active rest day, usually a walk or hike

Personal Information:
I have live in Great Falls, MT my whole life and I have worked at the local Coca-Cola plant for 12 years.
I have had the pleasure of annoying my husband for 12 years, and look forward to many many more years.
We have a 6 year old daughter, Lorelei and she is the reason for the butt kicking I take everyday. I want her to appreciate her body and know what eating right and staying active can do for you.

Other Information:
I love to read, I especially like crime/forensic books. I am a Twihard, Go Team Edward. Me and the hubs go camping almost every weekend in the summer and we love to go four wheeling.

    Holy buckets on the cookie selling! You put us to shame, lol.

    I'm on day 17 of lower carb. I understand how when you look at the plan it seems restrictive. I thought that too. But by 2 days into it I totally didn't feel restricted. I felt full. And somehow when your not hungry your cravings are either manageable or non-existent. I'm eating less often now too which is working out well in the calories department. Some days I have a hard time getting to 1200 and that's eating things like eggs, bacon, avocado, turkey, cheese, almonds, and TONS of veggies. I'm still eating fruit but not every day and when I do eat it I stick to a serving. Apples taste so amazing now that the white sugar is out of my system. And milk chocolate? My favorite thing ever? Does not even taste good. My taste buds are adjusting. So for me its going well. I was 163.0 today. Official weigh in is Friday. Next week I get to take my monthly measurements to see if inches have been lost at all. Excited about that!

    I am working the plan my way. I've had some red wine. I've had a microbrew or two. I have some higher percent dark chocolate but manage to be satisfied with 1 square. I would say I'm doing a hybrid low carb plan at this point it is working well. If you change your mind I'm here to bounce questions off of about it.

    I think focusing on your exercise is good...you are normally one of the most dedicated people I know about going! I'm sure it throws you off when you don't go. I'm working this week on getting in fitness minutes. Someday I would like to run a 5K again without walking! That's my goal - however long it takes.

    I'm so sorry about your kitty! It's tough to make those decisions even if you know it's best. I had to put my baby of 16 yrs down a few years ago and it was awful! (Hugs)

    You know the awesome thing today? I'm rapidly approaching the arrival of AF and I'm not even craving crap! Not even chocolate emoticon I'm feeling full and happy with the fact that I decided on a course of action and that it isn't tormenting me with hunger. I always hated that part.

    I am looking forward to the weekend when I can go to the store and stock up on some good stuff! I came across a recipe for Buffalo Chicken Egg Salad that you can serve with celery sticks or I was thinking I could cut some low carb tortillas and spray with cooking spray and sprinkle with some chili powder and bake into chips to have with it. I'm going to try it on Super Bowl. We all know how food can kill us on days like that. I'm also going to allow myself a Corona Light. I'm also thinking of making little desserts in my mini ramekins. Its going to be 1 vanilla wafer, 1/4 cup of SF chocolate pudding and some whip cream. I figure it to be around 7 net carbs.
