I like many have been overweight my whole life. My weight was getting out of hand and was in bad job. Not happy so I decided to work on my weight. I managed to lose about 50 lbs over a couple of years culminated in 2016 by running my 1st Marathon. I have gained about 25 lbs of it back so its time to get BACK ON TRACK. My favorite exercise is running. I also started back to lifting weights 2 to 3 times a week. My clock started 1 December 2018 with a moderate goal of losing an average of 1 pound a week. While I am not a fan of BMI, I want to get to the point where I don't read obese. I want to eat better but will never be an angel. I like a cold beer after a hard workout or workday once in awhile. Hiking, photography, and watching sports rounds my day.

My Goals:
Lose an average of one pound a week over 2019. Get back to long distance running and complete a 50k run. Look better. Eat less junk food. Make good decisions. Make friends.

My Program:
Eat less calories than my daily allotment. Exercise is both cardio mixed with some weight training for fitness. I wear a Fitbit more for fun than actual tracking. For running I use my Garmin 230 GPS watch for miles tracking. Two rules...make friends, have fun.

Personal Information:
54 years young. I am a engineer who works on fighter planes for the Navy. I enjoy hiking and group hikes. I like to photograph youth sports and also charity events. Music tastes range from classic rock, pop, some R&B, and every now and then country. Love going to local concerts or a good movie. Starbucks anybody? I'm there.

Other Information:
You people are my inspiration. Teach me. About 20 years ago I started getting bad panic attacks. It shut me down hard for two months and disrupted my life for years. If you suffer anxiety and panic attacks don't suffer alone. You can beat this, I did!
