Introduction Text My name is Kris and I am 50 years old. My weight gain began when I moved from LA to Northern California my senior year in high school. I rebelled and sought comfort by eating. As I reached 30, 40 and finally 50 I would constantly say "I don't want to be fat at 35, 45." The A-ha moment came when I reached 350 and the term super morbidly obese was used. Going upstairs is a chore, I am on blood pressure medication and medication for GERD and I can no longer ride on the back of our Harley with my husband. I have to take this one day at a time by starting with small goals.

I have a very small goal to start out. I am determined to lose 36 pounds in six months.



I am from Northern California but my heart is is So-Cal. I am married and have a son. He is 25 and is in the US Navy stationed in Oceana, VA. I have a two pets, a corgi named Jack and a cat named Charlie.
